Eat Me Guilt Free Celebrates the Launch of 2022 “You Glow Girl” Grant Program at Grown
Eat Me Guilt Free – a better-for-you-focused line of bread, brownies, snacks and tortilla wraps – Founder and CEO Cristie Besu celebrated the launch of the 2022 “You Glow Girl” Grant Program, in support of women entrepreneurs. The event took place at Grown on Tuesday, Feb 8, 2022.
Upon arrival, media and influencers were offered a signature cocktail and engaged with Galentine’s Day-themed photo opportunities. The evening continued with welcome remarks by Besu, who shared the Eat Me Guilt Free story and her vision behind the “You Glow Girl” grant. Guests then participated in cocktail making class, where they made the evening’s signature cocktail and learned about mindful drinking. Guests enjoyed savory light bites made in Grown’s kitchen in collaboration with Eat Me Guilt Free’s protein bread and tortillas and a dessert board prepared with the brand’s brownies.
Each guest was gifted with a “You Glow Girl” swag bag filled with items to encourage women to find balance, treat themselves and indulge in self-care. The tote bag included a t-shirt, a journal, a pen, a wine glass and a bottle of wine – all scripted with empowering messaging. Besu believes that women can only be the best version of themselves by filling their own cup and finding the time to take care of themself.
After a successful unveiling in 2021, Eat Me Guilt Free is launching its 2022 “You Glow Girl” grant program on Galentine’s Day (Feb. 13), ahead of National Entrepreneurship Week (Feb. 12-19). This is the second year for the grant, supporting Besu’s commitment to empowering female founders like herself to glow and grow, both professionally and personally.
Eat Me Guilt Free is baking up more than just brownies in the kitchen — Besu is curating a female empowerment community, bringing together women entrepreneurs and leaders who will uplift one another and continually rewrite the traditional business narrative. She invites all “glow-getters” to apply for the grant for a chance to level up their business in 2022.
