Design Within Reach unveils its second exclusive rug collection with Beni, the global rug brand responsibly crafted in Morocco.

This collection draws inspiration from early 20th-century Austrian interior architecture, translating the works of Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser, and Otto Prutscher into bold compositions with understated palettes.
Everest Rug
Everest translates architectural structure into a refined motif, drawing inspiration from the bold lines and gridded windows of Palais Stoclet, designed by architect Josef Hoffmann in the early 1900s. Its layered geometry echoes the building’s elegance, while generous texture, handwoven craftsmanship, and a warm palette bring a sense of order and softness underfoot.

Manor Rug
Manor combines extraordinary softness and subtle sheen with a rhythmic, geometric pattern that grounds a room and quietly commands attention. Inspired by the tiled floor of the Dianabad swimming pool in Vienna – designed by architect Otto Prutscher – its simplified, repeating squares echo like ripples in water, offering a refined take on the classic checkerboard motif.

Sebastian Rug
Sebastian embodies architectural clarity with a bold, large-scale geometric motif that lends quiet precision and refined confidence. Elevated by complementary colors, its composition of stacked squares and rectangles is inspired by the cabinetry designed by Josef Hoffmann and Koloman Moser for Moser’s home. The result: a disciplined yet impactful study in line, form, and negative space.
