The Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is bringing holiday cheer to Flagler Street with a series of free community events, starting with its signature 3rd Annual Downtown Miami Holiday Lighting on Friday, Nov. 14 from 6:00–10:00 PM.

The ultimate holiday celebration is back on historic Flagler Street. Presented by the Miami Downtown Development Authority, this year’s festivities will kick off with the dazzling lighting of a 24-foot Christmas tree adorned with thousands of sparkling lights and a vibrant Miami inspired design.
A free live performance from the Miami Symphony Orchestra, alongside students from the New World School of the Arts.
Families can also enjoy a dedicated, free kids’ area filled with a bounce house, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, and more, plus a special visit from Santa Claus himself.
Holiday Village on Flagler (December 7th, 14th, and 21st)
Step into a holiday wonderland in the heart of Downtown Miami. Each Sunday, Flagler Street transforms into a cheerful pop-up village with twinkling décor, local vendors, and interactive stations where kids can craft ornaments, snap photos with festive backdrops, and enjoy sweet seasonal treats.
Highlights include a menorah lighting (Dec. 14) and a toy giveaway (Dec. 21) — all free and open to the public.
Downtown Miami 1ONE Celebration (Thursday, Jan. 1 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Ring in 2026 with a lively New Year’s Day celebration featuring live music, family fun, and surprise guests in the city’s cultural core.
