Let’s go to Rio de Janeiro with the tropical sounds of Sergio Mendes and Antonio Carlos Jobim! Enjoy songs like “Waters of March”, “Wave”, “The Girl from Ipanema” and other classics performed by The Bossa Nova Experience, a premier ensemble dedicated to this delightful genre adored around the world. Led by guitarist and Latin GRAMMY winner Diogo Brown along with lovely vocalist Isa Duarte, the group performs soothing Bossa Nova hits as well as jazzy tunes, both in English and Portuguese. The Bossa Nova Experience swings so cool and sways so gently….

The Jazz Education Community Coalition ensemble is a community-based artistic network available to all young people interested in learning JAZZ. It offers aspiring jazz musicians an opportunity to connect with recognized leaders in the South Florida Jazz community, as well as with national and international jazz talents. For this performance, the JECC will be led by esteemed jazz artist and educator, Nicole Yarling!
