Doroni Aerospace, a South Florida-based developer in the personal electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) sector, unveiled its H1-X ‘Flying Car’ on Thursday, March 26, 2026. The "Soul of the Sky" launch event took place at the company’s headquarters in Dania Beach, providing investors and officials a first look at the consumer-focused aircraft.

The H1-X utilizes a tandem wing configuration and electric ducted fan technology. A central feature of the aircraft is the SOUL AI Digital Copilot™, an intelligent operator system designed to make personal flight intuitive for individual owners. While many industry competitors prioritize commercial air taxis, Doroni is targeting the consumer market, with initial deliveries estimated to begin in 2028.

During the ceremony, Doroni Aerospace CEO and Founder Doron Merdinger stated that the H1-X represents years of innovation aimed at unlocking personal flight for individuals. The event included an official proclamation from Dania Beach Mayor Joyce L. Davis, who recognized the company’s business contributions to the city and the regional impact of the launch.
The H1-X is designed to transition personal flight into a consumer reality, moving the concept from science fiction to a functional transportation option. The company continues to develop the platform at its Dania Beach facility as it moves toward the 2028 delivery goal.
