Ablogin has achieved international acclaim as one of today’s most distinctive pianists, performing on both period and modern instruments. His career gained momentum after earning top honors at the International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments in Warsaw (2018) and winning the 10th International German Piano Award (2021). He has since performed at prestigious venues including the Berlin Philharmonie, Vienna Konzerthaus, and Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

In addition to his solo achievements, Ablogin is deeply devoted to chamber music, collaborating with artists such as violinist Alena Baeva, cellist Anastasia Kobekina, and soprano Kateryna Kasper. His acclaimed discography includes Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations (Organum Classics), Franck Chamber Music (Genuin), and Songs by Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn (TYXArt), all of which have garnered major international award nominations.

Born in Moscow, Ablogin began piano studies at age five and later refined his artistry in Germany under Jesper Bøje Christensen. In 2024, he was appointed Professor of Fortepiano at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.

The November 16 program will feature works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin, and Hummel, highlighting Ablogin’s extraordinary range and interpretive depth.
