December Holiday Events Roundup Happening at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale, Regatta Grove & Shoma Bazaar
December is officially here and I wanted to share a couple of special holiday events happening at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale, Regatta Grove and Shoma Bazaar this month. From an Ugly Sweater Party to visits from The Grinch, these South Florida hotspots are sure to bring you some holiday cheer!
SantaFest at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale - December 9
Grab your Santa hats or dress up as one of Santa’s helpers and head to The Wharf Fort Lauderdale for the annual SantaFest! SantaFest will offer any guest in a holiday costume $8 specialty holiday cocktails all day long! The Wharf will also be offering $35 bottles of Côtes de Provence Rosé until 4:00 p.m. Enjoy the Holiday spirit with specialty cocktails, delicious food, interactive holiday decorations, stunning riverfront views and jolly vibes.

Jolly Jog at Regatta Grove - December 14
Starting and ending at Regatta Grove in Coconut Grove, the inaugural Jolly Jog 5K and toy drive will benefit The Kristi House, which is dedicated to treating and preventing child sexual abuse, trafficking and other childhood trauma, working closely with community partners, parents and providers. When participants bring a new, unwrapped toy, they will receive a Santa Hat and Christmas Light Necklace to wear during the run. A free race ticket which includes admission to the Fun Run, Post-Run Hydration and a Race Bib along with a premium race ticket priced at $20 which includes Jolly Jog Fun Run Medal, Race Bib, Post-Run Hydration and a complimentary specialty cocktail at the afterparty. After the race, participants are encouraged to celebrate at Regatta Grove, enjoying beautiful bayfront views while sipping on delicious cocktails and indulging in some mouth-watering grub.

Sunday’s at Shoma Christmas Edition at Shoma Bazaar - December 17
Whether you’ve been naughty or nice this year, head to Shoma Bazaar for a special Christmas Edition of Sundays at Shoma on Sunday, December 17. Get your morning namaste on starting at 10:00 a.m. with a relaxing free yoga class. After yoga, stick around for popup shops from local brands and check off some of your Christmas shopping. Shoma will also be offering a dog adoption event with Tito’s & Dade County Animal Services starting at 2:00 p.m. Bring the kids to participate in a fun ornament decorating activity from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. But the festivities don’t stop there, some special friends from the North Pole will be paying Shoma Bazaar a visit from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Both Santa Claus and The Grinch will be at Shoma to grant Christmas wishes and get everyone into the Christmas spirit. Starting and ending at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale along the New River, the Jolly Jog 5k and toy drive will benefit Handy Homes, whose mission is to achieve positive, lasting change for youth by providing life skills, education, and a supportive community. When participants bring a new, unwrapped toy, they will receive a Santa hat and a Christmas lights necklace to wear during the run.
