Commercial Real Estate Women Miami (CREW Miami) recently hosted its March program, Art & Ambition, at the Hotel Colonnade in Coral Gables. The event brought together industry professionals for an engaging conversation with Jessica Goldman Srebnick, Co-chair of Goldman Properties and CEO/Curator of the Wynwood Walls Museum.

The discussion, moderated by Julia Grachova—VP of Business Development and Governmental Legal Affairs at Fuse Group and CREW Miami President-Elect—explored themes of leadership, the evolution of Wynwood, and the intersection of creativity and real estate. The event was held in recognition of Women’s History Month and was supported by TD Bank US.

Real Estate as a Creative Discipline

Goldman Srebnick opened the program by reflecting on the influence of her father, Tony Goldman, and the mindset that shaped her approach to development. She described a philosophy rooted in conviction, long-term thinking, and a willingness to challenge conventional commercial real estate models.

Emphasizing that real estate is both a business and a creative endeavor, she noted, “I fell in love with real estate and the ability to put your fingerprints on the planet for generations.”

Leadership, Technology, and Inclusion

The conversation delved into the operational and cultural aspects of leadership. Goldman Srebnick highlighted the importance of a hands-on approach, accountability, and fostering a team culture grounded in shared purpose.

While discussing the increasing role of technology and artificial intelligence in the business world, she stressed that emerging tools should not replace the vital need for human connection and perspective in decision-making.

Inclusion and confidence were also key themes. Goldman Srebnick reinforced the value of diverse perspectives, encouraging a balanced approach to leadership. “I learned from a very early age, and from both my parents, that any room that you walk into, you belong in, and you can stand shoulder to shoulder with anybody,” she shared. “It’s best to embrace all the best qualities that a human being has to offer.”

Looking Ahead to the 2026 CREW Network Convention

The Art & Ambition program highlighted CREW Miami’s ongoing mission to create spaces for meaningful dialogue and professional growth. “Conversations like this reflect the direction CREW Miami is continuing to build—creating space for meaningful dialogue across the industry while reinforcing that CREW is a place for everyone to connect, grow, and lead,” said Grachova.

Looking forward, CREW Miami is preparing to serve as the host chapter for the 2026 CREW Network Convention. Scheduled for September 23–25, 2026, at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, the event is expected to welcome more than 1,400 commercial real estate professionals from around the world.
