Craig Zinn, president and CEO of Craig Zinn Automotive Group (CZAG), was honored as the 2025 Business Leader of the Year by Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business during its 31st annual breakfast ceremony held at Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton. The award recognizes Zinn’s leadership, entrepreneurial success and enduring philanthropic impact throughout South Florida.

With more than 40 years in the automotive industry, Zinn began his career in 1980 when he purchased his first dealership after gaining experience in every department, from detailing and mechanics to parts and inventory. His deep understanding of the business and commitment to excellence have shaped Craig Zinn Automotive Group into one of South Florida’s most respected and community-minded dealership groups.

Craig Zinn Automotive Group owns and operates Lexus of North Miami, Lexus of Pembroke Pines, Acura of Pembroke Pines, Toyota of Hollywood, Subaru of Pembroke Pines, the recently expanded and upgraded Toyota of Hollywood pre-owned supercenter Amazinn Used Cars, and Subaru of West Kendall (coming soon), offering new and used makes and models.

Throughout his career, Zinn has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to giving back. His philanthropic efforts include a $2 million gift to Cleveland Clinic to establish the Cleveland Clinic Craig M. Zinn Concierge Medicine Suite in Weston and a previous $2 million gift to create the Craig M. Zinn Distinguished Chair in Men’s Health. He also supports numerous South Florida organizations, including Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Florida and the American Cancer Society.

“Take care of your customers, or someone else will. Throughout my career, I’ve strived to not only be a good businessman but also a good man in business,” Zinn said. “This honor from FAU is meaningful because it reflects both building a successful company while leading with integrity, responsibility and a commitment to the community.”

Zinn accepted the award in person at the Jan. 21 ceremony, joining a distinguished list of past honorees recognized for their leadership, innovation and service. The recognition reinforces his decades-long mission to pair business success with meaningful community impact, a principle that continues to define both his career and the Craig Zinn Automotive Group legacy.
