Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Summer Camp

Join Frost Science during Summer Camp for a new, Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program that invites middle school students to gain leadership skills, learn about various science disciplines, and create a scientific resource or community action project under the guidance of a mentor.

Week 2: June 17 – June 21

There will be no camp Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

CITs will explore their interests in science, build their resumes, become young leaders in STEM, gain community service hours, and receive a recommendation letter for their time as a CIT.

During Summer Camp, CITs will develop a science-based activity for Frost Science campers, aligning to the theme of the week or to a science topic of interest to the CIT. At the end of the week, CIT’s will lead and facilitate the activity they developed to a group of campers.
