Constellation Culinary Group Launches New Menu at Food@Science Cafe at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science
Constellation Culinary Group, known for providing exceptional dining experiences for one-of-a-kind events, cultural centers, restaurants and cafés, has launched an exciting new menu at Food@Science Café located at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (Frost Science).
As the museum's exclusive catering and dining partner, Constellation Culinary Group enhances the museum experience with creative, exhibition-inspired menu offerings. The café's vibrant atmosphere, paired with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the waterfront Maurice A. Ferré Park, makes it the perfect spot for pre-exploration snacks, midday brain food or a late-afternoon pick-me-up.
Mezzee Salad at Verde
The updated menu features a variety of fresh and flavorful options, including hearty salads and bowls like Caesar Salad ($12), with romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, homestyle croutons and Caesar dressing; Curry Kale Salad ($17), with kale, roasted potatoes, roasted beets, chopped broccoli, roasted bell peppers, toasted pepitas, vegan Parmesan cheese and maple curry dressing; Mezze Salad ($14), with arcadian green harvest mix, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, chopped parsley, crispy chickpeas, Kalamata olives, radishes, roasted bell peppers, feta cheese and lemon oregano dressing; Salmon Poke Bowl ($18), with sustainably sourced, soy-marinated salmon, brown rice, cucumbers, radishes, carrots, wakame, crispy onion strips, edamame, spicy mayo and sweet soy glaze; and Crispy Chicken Mac ($16), mac and cheese topped with crispy chicken tenders and chopped bacon. Add Oven-Roasted Chicken or Falafel to any salad or bowl for an additional $4 or two Chicken Tenders for an additional $6.
Curry Kale Salad
Those looking for something off the grill should try the Burger ($15), a 6-oz beef patty with white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles, or Grilled Chicken Sandwich ($17), with provolone cheese, pickled red onions, arugula, tomatoes and caramelized onion aioli. Vegans can opt for the Beyond Burger ($16), which comes with the same fixings.
Other highlight-worthy handhelds include a Beef Hot Dog ($9) on a toasted gourmet roll; Chicken Tenders and Fries ($14) with honey mustard to dip; Cheese Quesadilla ($13) and Chicken Quesadilla ($16), served with guacamole and salsa; Grilled Cheese ($10), buttered and toasted white bread with American and Muenster cheese; Turkey Bacon Club ($15), with oven-roasted deli turkey, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, mayonnaise and Dijon mustard; Reina Pepiada Arepa ($14), with white cornbread, shredded chicken avocado salad and garlic cilantro aioli; and Pork Arepa ($14), with white cornbread, pulled pork, cheddar cheese and garlic cilantro aioli. Cheese Pizza ($17) and Pepperoni Pizza ($18) are also available.
Pair any dish with sides like Yuca Fries ($8), with cotija cheese and cilantro aioli; Soup of the Day ($9); Mac and Cheese ($8); and Mexican Street Corn ($7), buttered corn with lemon mayo, cotija cheese, chipotle pepper and cilantro. French Fries ($6) can be ordered as a side or added to a meal for an additional $4.
Food@Science also offers a variety of Starbucks coffee favorites, including iced and blended drinks, as well as wine, brews and great nonalcoholic options. For a sweet treat, indulge in the Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies ($5).
Understanding the impact of the food and beverage industry on the environment, Constellation Culinary Group is committed to prioritizing sustainability measures, from the dishes and containers in which the food is served to the management of food waste throughout the museum.
Sustainability highlights include replacing single-use plastics with recyclable and renewable packing, an ongoing partnership with Open Water canned water instead of plastic water bottles, local sourcing of ingredients whenever possible and an impressive composting collaboration with Miami’s Compost for Life.
Located on Level 1 of the Frost Science Museum’s West Wing, Food@Science is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Coffe@Science is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
