Childhood memories remain forever! Since it's probably just a feeling and the overall visual memory fades with time, FJBaur has been busy depicting positive memories by alienating his most treasured mementos. Fading Youth, his Artdolls are meant to rekindle positive associations by stimulating a flashback, because memories are essential to one's history.

FJBAUR (*1978) lives and works between his two Ateliers in Berlin (Germany) and Vienna (Austria).
The conceptual artist transforms art and fashion into a single medium. His installations and works in vibrant and bold colors are inspired by the Pop Art movement of the late 1970s and have a socially critical component, such as same-sex rights and recycling. Along the way, he has collaborated with artists such as Amanda Lepore and Conchita Wurst. His work has been published in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, L'Officiel and Numero.
