Community Philanthropy Making A Difference For Memorial Healthcare System Patients And Families

Brett Rose and Kevin Janser, the board chair and president of the Memorial and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundations, recently presented a check for $15 million to South Broward Hospital District commissioners. The dollars were raised by the nonprofit organizations during capital campaigns for the construction of the Memorial Cancer Institute and expansion of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. It is the most recent payment made by the foundations to support programs, services, and facilities within Memorial Healthcare System.
