Common Room, a modern neighborhood American restaurant near Young Circle in Downtown Hollywood, Florida, is now open alongside its hidden cocktail bar, The Brooklyn Room, an invitation-only speakeasy tucked inside the venue.
Located at 2032 Harrison Street, Common Room focuses on consistently executed American comfort dishes and an extensive cocktail program in a 65-seat space designed as a neighborhood anchor. The restaurant offers items such as yellowfin tuna tartare, lobster rolls, prime skirt steak frites and a Wagyu burger, with a bar menu that includes martini service and spirit-free options. The cocktail list, developed by Miami firm Unfiltered Hospitality, features signature drinks like the Limonata Highball, Tropic Like it’s Hot, Dancing Flamingo, The Uncommon Lady and Late Night Feels.
The Brooklyn Room is concealed behind a functioning bookshelf off the hallway inside Common Room and is accessible only by invitation from management, with regular guests of BOL Hospitality Group venues more likely to receive access. The speakeasy serves cocktails inspired by Brooklyn neighborhoods and plays a nightly mix of old school hip hop and jazz, offering a separate late-night experience within the same address.
Common Room operates Wednesday and Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m., and is closed on Monday and Tuesday. For more information and reservations, guests can visit Common Room online.
