Celebrating the Culture, Music, and Folk Dance of Haiti Join us for a vibrant evening as we honor the life and legacy of Louinès Louinis, Haitian dancer, choreographer, musician, and the founder and artistic director of the Louinès Louinis Haitian Dance Theatre.

The event will include a conversation moderated by Dr. Kate Ramsey, with special guests Lucrèce Louisdhon-Louinis, Dr. Joan Hamby Burroughs, Michelle Grant-Murray, and Jan Mapou. A question and answer session with the audience will follow the panel.
The program will conclude with a Haitian music and dance performance in honor of Louinès Louinis featuring storyteller Lucrèce Louisdhon-Louinis, drummer Laurent Walter, dancer Laurette Jean, and singer Martine Jabouin Cadet.
