There’s a new reason to raise your (mimosa) glass in Miami: Coconut Grove has officially been crowned the city’s Brunch Capital, and they’re celebrating in true Grove style.
On Saturday, September 21 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Coconut Grove will launch its newest community initiative, “The Grove Brunch Club,” a neighborhood-wide culinary event that brings together over 20 beloved restaurants in a toast to all things brunch. Coinciding with National Brunch Day, the celebration promises exclusive specials, curated menu deals, and live music scattered across the Grove’s walkable, tree-lined streets.

Known for its charming neighborhood vibe and a restaurant scene that effortlessly blends upscale dining with local character, Coconut Grove has become the epicenter of brunch culture in Miami. The inaugural Grove Brunch Club solidifies this growing reputation with an all-out experience for food lovers, families, and weekend wanderers alike.
From bottomless mimosas and signature brunch cocktails to Miami Spice-priced menus, guests can indulge in everything from innovative Latin-American dishes to health-conscious fare and globally inspired bites. Participating restaurants include neighborhood favorites such as Jaguar Restaurant, Emissary, Greenstreet Cafe, Amal, Level 6, Narbona, Crema Gourmet, Carrot Express, Craft, Le Bouchon du Grove, Loretta & the Butcher, Osso Busco, Ariete, Avo, Calista Cafe, Krus Kitchen, Mayfair Grill, Pura Vida, Le Pain Quotidien, Sadelle’s, Il Giardino and Chug’s Diner, with more expected to join.
Adding to the festive flair, the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District (BID) is enhancing the experience with branded take-home wine glasses and live music throughout the district. Families with little ones are always welcome for brunch, but The Grove Art Studio is also offering a special three-hour indoor day camp for children, giving parents a well-deserved brunch break for just $80.
Coconut Grove’s official recognition as the city's Brunch Capital, recently backed by Miami New Times, is a testament to its vibrant food scene and the community-driven vision behind its growth. With its charming streets, locally loved eateries, and a palpable weekend buzz, the Grove offers an unmatched brunch experience that blends neighborhood warmth with culinary excellence.
And this celebration is no one-time affair. The Grove Brunch Club is envisioned as a long-term program, with additional activations and events planned through 2025. It’s a strategic effort by the BID to promote Coconut Grove as not just a weekend brunch favorite, but a year-round culinary destination that captures the spirit of Miami living.
So whether you’re craving a churro waffle and a Miami mimosa at Chug’s, a $35 prix-fixe brunch at Amal or Level 6, or simply looking to enjoy the music and atmosphere, September 21 is your perfect excuse to explore, or rediscover, everything Coconut Grove has to offer.
