The event drew community figures including Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins and Commissioner Pardo, while NBC6 News broadcast the unveiling live, extending the moment to viewers across South Florida. The poster reveal has become a signature tradition of the festival, offering the first public look at the creative direction of the upcoming Presidents Day Weekend celebration.
First Horizon Bank, the festival’s presenting sponsor, reaffirmed its support of the arts and the Coconut Grove community. Festival leadership emphasized the role the poster plays as both a cultural marker and a collectible tied to the event’s long-running legacy.

Kenneth Kudulis, a nationally recognized artist, was selected as the 2026 poster artist. His work is known for its layered digital compositions, bold color, and narrative depth. Kudulis brings a background in theater and scenic painting, with formal training at Juilliard and professional experience on Tony Award-winning productions including Spring Awakening and Next to Normal, as well as high-profile retail installations for Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Kudulis’ poster draws inspiration from Coconut Grove’s natural and cultural landscape, incorporating orange blossoms and the peacocks commonly seen throughout the neighborhood. His process involves building complex digital works composed of thousands of hand-drawn elements, resulting in images that blur the line between painting and digital illustration.
Festival organizers noted that past posters have become sought-after collector’s pieces displayed in homes, offices, and galleries, reinforcing the event’s connection to visual art beyond the festival weekend itself.

The 2026 Coconut Grove Arts Festival will take place during Presidents Day Weekend, February 14 through 16, 2026. The official poster will be available for purchase during the festival. Additional information is available at the website.
