CityPlace Doral Restaurants to Participate in Miami Spice



Miami Spice returns from August 1 through September 30! This year, diners can enjoy the Magic City’s annual prix-fixe summer dining extravaganza with affordable menus for brunch, lunch and dinner at CityPlace Doral – South Florida’s premier wellness, entertainment, dining and restaurant destination. The following CityPlace Doral restaurants are participating in Miami Spice by offering special promotions:


For the first time ever, SuViche at CityPlace Doral will participate in Miami Spice for brunch, lunch and dinner.


SuViche stands not to represent Japanese or Peruvian cuisines independently nor is the purpose to merely “combine” these two cuisines. Rather, SuViche strives to create a new type of cuisine, one that blends the ingredients, traditions and originality of each cuisine. Its concept integrates these two cuisines in unison in order to create a symbiotic relationship based on the traditions and ingredients that make each cuisine so special.

SuViche’s full Miami Spice menu includes:

 

Brunch ($30) Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Brain Food and Entrees (choice of two): Pork Belly Hash, Miami Roll, Truffle Roll, Bang Bang Shrimp, Fish Dip, SuViche Salad (choice of salmon, tuna or all-natural chicken), Ceviche Natural, Lomo a lo Pobre (+$2), Causa Frita Benedict, Pork Belly Sandwich, Butifarra Sandwich, Chicken Camote Waffles, Avocado Toast or Chicken Chaufa

 

Sides: Rustic Potatoes, Lychee and Blueberry Salad and Wedge Tomatoes

 

Dessert (choice of one): Suspiro Waffles, Alfajores or Chocolate Cake

 

Lunch ($30), Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

Brain Food (choice of one): Ceviche Natural, Edamame al Wok, Papa a la Huancaína, SuViche Salad (choice of salmon, tuna or all-natural chicken) or Fish Dip

 

Entrees (choice of one): Pescado a lo Macho, Bang Bang Roll, Chicken Chaufa, Causa or Lomo Saltado (+$2)

 

Dessert (choice of one): Alfajores, Suspiro Limeño or Chocolate Cake

 

Dinner ($45), Monday through Sunday, starting at 5 p.m.: Includes a half bottle of wine or a non-alcoholic cocktail

Brain Food (choice of one): Ceviche Natural, Edamame al Wok, Papa a la Huancaína, SuViche Salad (choice of salmon, tuna or all-natural chicken) or Fish Dip

 

Entrees (choice of one): Pescado a lo Macho, Bang Bang Roll, Chicken Chaufa, Causa or Lomo Saltado (+$2) 

 

Dessert (choice of one): Alfajores, Suspiro Limeño or Chocolate Cake

Novecento, an Argentinian-influenced restaurant concept serving premium steaks and signature pastas, will also participate in Miami Spice with brunch, lunch and dinner. Novecento first opened its doors in 1991 in SoHo, New York and then expanded internationally with spots in Cañitas, Argentina; Punta del Este, Uruguay; Cordoba, Argentina; and finally, South Florida. Owned by SuViche Hospitality Group, Novecento is dedicated to offering fresh and high-quality food for brunch, lunch and dinner and has welcomed guests for more than three decades.

Novecento’s full Miami Spice menu includes:

 

Brunch ($30) Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.:

·       Primer Tiempo (choose from one): Empanada de Desayuno, Sopa De Zanahoria y Coco, Avocado Toast or Chorizo

·       Segundo Tiempo (choose from one): Bacon Pancakes, Eggs any style, Chorizo Scramble, Salmon Benedict or Milanga a Caballo

·       Tiempo Extra (choose from one): Flan, Crème Brûlée or Panqueque Novecento


Lunch ($30) Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

·       Primer Tiempo (choose from one): Empanada Salteña, Mahi Fish Bites or Caesar Salad 

·       Segundo Tiempo (choose from one): Pomodoro Novecento, Choripan or Chicken Marsala 

·       Tiempo Extra (choose from one): Flan or Panqueque Novecento


Dinner ($45) Monday through Sunday, starting at 5 p.m.

·       Primer Tiempo (choose one): Mejillones, Tomato Salad or Papas Argentinas 

·       Segundo Tiempo (choose one): Steak Frites, Branzino or Gnocchi Gratinado 

·       Tiempo Extra (choose one): Dessert: Flan or Panqueque Novecento

Kuba Cabana, the Latin and Caribbean-inspired culinary destination at CityPlace Doral, is doing its own spin on Miami Spice with its “Cabana Spice” menu crafted by Executive Chef Jorge Mas. From Aug. 5 to Sept. 5, Mondays through Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., guests can enjoy a three-course dinner expertly paired with wine for just $45 per person. The Latin-inspired menu is subject to change due to its limited availability and will be updated weekly.

The following menu will be available for the first week, August 5-8:  

 

·       Starter: Tuna Tiradito: Yellowfin tuna loin, escabeche emulsion, plantain crumbs, culantro oil

·       Main Entree: Wagyu Rice: Mishima Reserve picaña, mushrooms, pickled raisin puree, bone jus

·       Dessert: Mamey Tres Leches: Vanilla sponge cake, mamey, white chocolate, lime zest

 

Reservations and highly encouraged and can be made through OpenTable.  

 

While dining during Miami Spice, guests can also enjoy CityPlace Doral’s seasonal Instagrammable art installation made entirely of sunflower-decorated umbrellas. Upon entering the center, guests will be welcomed with 1,300 sunflower-decorated umbrellas floating overhead on the boulevard, as an extension of The Oasis experience. The umbrellas are arranged where the sunflowers are visible from both the top and the bottom, adding a touch of uniqueness to the atmosphere. The umbrellas will be on display through Aug. 31.
