CityPlace Doral Hosts Second Annual Superhero Bash on Oct. 24
CityPlace Doral in partnership with the City of Doral’s Police Department will host the second annual Superhero Bash on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 2 to 5 p.m., a free community event combining family activities with support for international earthquake relief efforts.
The Superhero Bash is designed to recognize first responders and their acts of service while offering children and families superhero-themed entertainment, interactive games, activities and giveaways.
Attendees can meet popular superhero characters, explore emergency vehicles from local agencies including police, public works, corrections, fire rescue and health services, and participate in free fingerprinting for children provided by the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department.
Global Empowerment Mission will collect non-perishable food, personal care items, diapers and baby products, first aid supplies and pet items at CityPlace Doral to aid families affected by recent earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia, adding a humanitarian component to the event.
The event will take place at CityPlace Doral, 8300 NW 36th St., Doral, FL 33166, with parking available in the garage for an additional charge and valet service offered, and superhero costumes are encouraged for attendees.
