CityPlace Doral in Miami-Dade County will host its Fifth Annual Day of the Dead “Día de los Muertos” Celebration on Sunday, November 1, 2026, with a free community event and a month-long themed installation.

The main Day of the Dead celebration is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fountain Plaza. The event will feature cultural performances, an “El Mercado” vendor market, food sampling, a face gem station and festive photo opportunities. Guests, including pets, are encouraged to attend in Day of the Dead themed attire.

From October 2 through November 3, 2026, CityPlace Doral will be decorated with Día de los Muertos inspired installations that include papel picado themed high-gloss acrylic in vivid colors, decorative sugar skulls and floral accents throughout the boulevard. The display will also feature three oversized skeletons emerging from the plaza fountain, a custom swing and a butterfly bench in the Fountain Plaza, designed to provide photo opportunities that reference traditional elements such as papel picado, calaveras and floral motifs.

Throughout the activation, visitors can take photos or selfies with the installations and tag @CityPlaceDoral on social media for a chance to be featured. The destination also continues its regular programming, including the CityPlace Live! entertainment series on Saturdays, CityPlace Market on Sundays and monthly Food Truck Friday events.

The Day of the Dead celebration is free and open to the public. CityPlace Doral is located at 8300 NW 36th Street, Doral, Florida, with parking available in the parking garage for an additional charge and valet service also offered. For more information, visit the events page at CityPlace Doral.
