City of Doral Swears in New City Manager, Zeida Sardiñas

The City of Doral has officially sworn in Zeida Sardiñas as its new City Manager. Appointed unanimously by the Mayor and Council during a Special Council Meeting on December 26, 2024, Mrs. Sardiñas was welcomed into the role at a Swearing-in Ceremony on January 23, 2025. The event was attended by city leadership, staff, family, friends, and colleagues.

In her address, Mrs. Sardiñas emphasized her vision for Doral’s future. "Together, we will continue to advance a city that honors its rich cultural heritage while embracing the promise of tomorrow. A city that fosters innovation, celebrates diversity, and ensures a world-class quality of life for all who call it home," she said. "Thank you for this incredible opportunity to serve. I look forward to working alongside each of you to create a stronger, more prosperous future for Doral."
With over 25 years of experience spanning business, public administration, real estate, and academia, Mrs. Sardiñas brings a wealth of expertise to the position. She previously served as the asset manager for the City of Coral Gables, where she was responsible for the development and management of city-owned properties. From 2014 to 2019, she also served as a Legislative Analyst at the City of Doral, fostering strong ties with the community and understanding their needs.
Her leadership is set to guide Doral into a future of continued growth and prosperity, as she works with the Mayor and Council to improve city services and enhance the quality of life for residents.
