Churchill Downs Announces September Meet Events and 2027 Kentucky Derby Tickets
Churchill Downs is preparing for its upcoming September Meet, which will feature evening racing programs, the start of the Road to the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks, and group hospitality options at the historic Louisville racetrack.
Downs After Dark is scheduled for September 19 with an Oktoberfest theme, offering live Thoroughbred racing, German-inspired drink specials and traditional Oktoberfest entertainment.
The Road to the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks will begin on September 12 with the Iroquois Stakes and Pocahontas Stakes, the first qualifying races where emerging horses can start earning their way toward the Derby and Oaks.
Churchill Downs is promoting group outings of 12 or more during the September and fall racing programs, positioning the live race days as opportunities to host clients or company gatherings at the track.
In addition, select 2027 Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks tickets are now on sale, including dining experiences, reserved seating and infield general admission two-day packages.
