Chanel Launches Démaquillant Lacté Intense Bi-Phase Makeup Remover

Chanel has expanded its skincare lineup with Démaquillant Lacté Intense, a new bi-phase makeup remover designed for the eye and lip areas as well as the face.
The formula combines a water-like phase with a milk-like texture and is enriched with a camellia complex, featuring ingredients derived from the camellia flower, the emblem of Chanel. The cleanser is formulated to remove all types of makeup, including waterproof products, along with sunscreen and impurities such as pollutants, while helping to maintain the skin’s barrier and microbiome.
According to an instrumental evaluation of 15 people, skin was measured to be 56% more hydrated immediately after use. Démaquillant Lacté Intense is positioned as suitable for all skin types and can be paired with the brand’s La Mousse cleanser as a two-step routine for a more thorough cleanse.
The launch highlights Chanel’s continued focus on camellia-based skincare ingredients, which are known for their moisturizing properties and are used across several of the house’s skincare products.
