CEO of Jewish Family Home Care Robin Miller Named Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County, Inc. 2025 Mother of the Year

 Jewish Family Home Care (JFHC) – a not-for-profit agency – is proud to announce that CEO Robin Miller was honored as a 2025 Mother of the Year by Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County, Inc. (HMHB/Broward).



Miller is a proud mother to one son, Allen and has one grandson, Jackson. She embraces the mission of HMHB/Broward by demonstrating her unwavering dedication to mothers, babies, and families and has made a lasting impact on the South Florida community. Her compassion, leadership and commitment truly embody the spirit of this recognition.

Miller, along with other honorees, was celebrated at the Memorial Healthcare System 32nd Annual Mother's Day Celebration, presented by Fifth Third Bank on April 29, at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel & Convention Center. 

HMHB/Broward was formed in 1987 in response to a high rate of infant mortality in Broward County, Florida. For over thirty four years, the agency has developed and implemented innovative programs and services for low-income pregnant and parenting families, focusing on zip codes at high risk of infant death, poor maternal/child health, and child endangerment. 

Today, HMHB/Broward is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is strengthening families and improving birth outcomes in the underserved community within Broward County through comprehensive programs, education, and access to vital support services. 

“I am proud to be a part of the respected group of mothers who are recipients of HMHB/Broward’s 2025 Mother of the Year Award,” said Miller. “My passion for community is fueled by my family. This honor wouldn’t be possible without my son Allen. Watching him grow into the man and father he is today fills my heart with pride. He is my greatest accomplishment, and I am endlessly proud of the strength, kindness and courage he embodies every day.” 

Miller brings more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit business development, fundraising and coordinating successful outreach programs to her position as chief executive officer of Jewish Family Home Care (JFHC), one of the largest providers of multi-reach, non-medical home quality home care for Broward County, Florida seniors from all reaches of life and any faith. Providing service to more than 400 clients, JFHC offers services such as home health aides, companions, housekeepers and certified nursing assistants. It delivers tailor-made home health care plans, with special consideration to patients’ physical and emotional needs, as well as their family’s budget. Under Miller's leadership, JFHC has continued to provide specialized care for Holocaust survivors, ensuring they receive the compassionate and dignified care they deserve.

Miller brings a wealth of experience and passion for serving the nonprofit community to her role as CEO. Her journey has been fueled by her passion for community, nurtured by inspiring mentors and solidified through impactful life experiences. Miller’s extensive community outreach efforts have significantly increased the visibility and support for JFHC. Through strategic partnerships and collaborations, she has expanded the organization's reach and strengthened its role within the community, fostering a network of support that benefits both clients and their families. JFHC empowers seniors to age gracefully and with respect in their own homes through compassionate home health care services. It extends support to both family caregivers and seniors without family, ensuring assistance with daily living activities.
