Celebrating the Saxophone Quartet: A Chamber Music Showcase at the Frost Classical Saxophone Studio

The Frost Classical Saxophone Studio prides on its priority of chamber music. The most important combination of saxophone and chamber music is the Saxophone Quartet. The Saxophone Quartet is unique in that it is the only chamber ensemble in existence that perfectly resembles the voice parts (soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone) as well as its immensely flexible sound palette. Saxophone Quartets around the globe are known for performing a number of standard works as well as transcriptions of other works such as string quartets or even keyboard music. Within this performance you will hear a variety of music from both Graduate and Undergraduate Saxophone Quartets who are coached by Professor Dale Underwood and or Graduate Assistant Noah Brisson.
