Celebrate Thanksgiving with These South Florida Restaurants & Venues

Thanksgiving is right around the corner here in South Florida. With the holiday season rapidly approaching, we wanted to share a round-up of restaurants where you’re able to celebrate the holiday for lunch or dinner, as well as a list of venues offering to-go and pie pick-ups.


LUNCH & DINNER Venue: Rusty Pelican Miami Price: Adults $98 | Children $35 | Mimosas $30 Description: This Thanksgiving, the iconic Rusty Pelican Miami will host a four-course prix-fixe brunch experience and offer a seasonal dinner menu. Start off with the family-style Festive Platter featuring chilled seafood with oysters, shrimp cocktail, crab, cheese & charcuterie, mochi donuts, mozzarella grilled cheese; and the family-style Honey Harvest Salad made with mixed baby kale, lemon honey vinaigrette, roasted butternut squash, candied pumpkin seeds, and goat cheese. Follow with the choice of one main course per person including Nutella & Beligan Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Salt-Roasted Turkey, Atlantic Salmon, and more; and end the meal on a sweet note with a family-style Show Stopper Dessert featuring pumpkin cheesecake, red velvet woopie pies with cardamom cream and cherry filling, macarons, apple tarte tatin, lemon posset and pistachio-cranberry semifreddo. Boozy options include the Spruce Willis cocktail made with Maker’s Mark Castaway Private Selection, agave, lemon juice, white peach puree, mint and rosemary; and bottomless mimosas for an additional $30 per person. Venue: Root & Bone Price: $75 adults / $25 kids Description: Miami’s ultimate Southern spot, Root & Bone, is hosting a special three-course Thanksgiving dinner for the holiday. Enjoy the staples that will wrap you in a warm embrace, starting with drunkin’ deviled eggs, kale salad or Grandma Daisy’s Angel Biscuits. Celebrate the main event with cider brined and fried turkey and confit leg with bourbon gravy. Guests can savor spectacular sides with cornbread sage stuffing, crispy brussels sprouts, sweet potato mash, mac and cheese and more. End on a sweet note with warm pecan pie with bourbon ice cream or a mini key lime pie tarts.

Venue: Stiltsville Fish Bar Price: $95 adults / $35 kids | Entire 3-course meal Description: Stiltsville Fish Bar is serving up the ultimate Thanksgiving feast this holiday. The restaurant will be whipping up a special three-course menu during the holiday that features (all items available!): crispy calamari caesar salad; scallop and housemade pork belly served with miso sweet potato puree; smoked fish dip; peel and eat royal shrimp – just to start! Main dishes include the seasonal char-grilled pumpkin swordfish, bay leaf & citrus crusted fried turkey breast and pair them with all sides: local Jamaican sweet potato; crab & andouille cornbread stuffing; cranberry smash with dade county citrus; grilled green bean with lemon butter. End the evening with sweet treats of coconut key lime pie and Grandma’s carrot cake.

DINNERS Venue: Hutong Miami Price: $200 per Flaming Peking Turkey (Serves 4-6 people Each) Description: In honor of Thanksgiving, Hutong Miami will be offering a play on one of its most popular and internationally-known dishes. New for the holiday season is a Flaming Peking Turkey with a unique Sichuan twist carved tableside to truly ignite dinnertime. The Turkey is available by pre-order only at $200 each for a limited number of guests (as turkeys last). Each Flaming Peking Turkey will serve 4-6 people and is meant to be enjoyed as a celebratory holiday meal amongst close friends and family. Groups can also enjoy some of Hutong’s other notable, a la carte contemporary Chinese dishes including its notable Dim Sum Platter, Halibut Red Star Noodles, Ma La Chilli Prawns, and more. To top off the meal, guests can sink into Hutong’s brand new desserts, including the Hong Kong Milk Tea Tiramisu for Two or the Golden Treasure Bowl (a signature dessert platter filled with an abundance of sweet surprises), introduced to the menu this holiday season. Venue: Mirabella Price: $149 per adult // $75 per child Description: Indulge in a culinary masterpiece this Thanksgiving at Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s newest restaurant, Mirabella. The coastal Italian restaurant will offer a three-course menu for Thanksgiving that includes starters such as Island Creek Oysters, butternut squash soup, granchio or insalata. Entrees include roasted organic turkey, tagliata or red snapper. End with a sweet treat such as traditional pumpkin pie, apple crisp or dark chocolate pecan pie. All entrees are served with traditional Thanksgiving sides such as sage stuffing, potato puree, buttermilk biscuits, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and caramelized root vegetables.

Venue: Calle Dragones Price: $70 per person Description: Calle Dragones, nestled in the heart of Miami's cultural epicenter, Calle Ocho, is offering a Cuban twist for guests to indulge in this Thanksgiving. The iconic venue invites guests on a journey through world-class dining, Asian-influenced Cuban cuisine, and cabaret performances creating a one-of-a-kind culinary and cultural experience. The prix-fixe menu will offer innovative bites like the Salmon Carpaccio, Burrata Salad, Cream of Calabaza Soup, as well as entrees like the Mojo Roast Turkey, Roasted Lechon, and Robata Salmon. End the night on a sweet note with a choice of Vanilla Torreja (Vanilla French Toast) or Tres Leches Chocolate Mousse. Venue: Prime 54 Price: $145 per person for prix fixe menu // A la carte menu available as well Description: Prime 54 is putting a twist on a traditional thanksgiving dinner this Fall with a special three-course menu available during the holiday. Begin the evening with appetizers such as puree of butternut squash soup or endive & apple salad and then head over to the main course with selections of 18 oz. bone-in ribeye or a traditional roasted turkey breast. To finish the meal, guests can enjoy a decadent trio of desserts of Pumpkin tart, Cranberry Pecan chocolate pie, or red apple petit gateau. Venue: Vida at Fontainebleau Miami Beach Price: $95 per person // $45 per child Description: This Thanksgiving, put a twist on the holiday tradition and go buffet style at Vida at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Start with a variety of salads ranging from Caesar to Waldorf salad. Accompany your taste buds with cheese and charcuterie and different choices of soup. Head over to the raw bar and enjoy fresh chilled jumbo shrimp, east and West Coast oysters, assorted sashimi, and nigiri. Make your way to the carving station and enjoy dry-aged prime rib, roasted turkey breast, and honey bourbon ham. Indulge in more Thanksgiving cravings with an entree or grilled jumbo shrimp or Ricotta Ravioli. Finish the meal on a sweet note with pies, cakes, and other treats. Venue: Orange Blossom Price: $68 per person Description: Celebrate Thanksgiving at Orange Blossom with their three-course family style Thanksgiving dinner. Guests can enjoy a unique starts followed by a Slow-Roasted Heritage Turkey and traditional sides with an Orange Blossom flare. Bring the whole family together and end the meal with Homemade Pumpkin Pie. PIES + PICK UP ORDERS Venue: Santorini by Georgio’s Description: A familiar staple in Miami Beach’s chic South of Fifth neighborhood, Santorini By Georgios will offer a special holiday catering menu for Thanksgiving featuring its Mediterranean and Greek cuisine. Santorini’s menu serves authentic Greek dishes from flavorful appetizers and wild-caught seafood to gyros and kebabs. Private events and beach and pool club cabanas are also available for booking.


Venue: Branja Description: Branja’s “Around the Turkey” menu (4-6 servings) can be ordered for pick-up up to 48 hours ahead of the holiday. The menu, meant to compliment your Thanksgiving proteins on the holiday table, includes its Breaking Bread with four different dips (Skordelia, Matbucha, Tahini, Zaatar Salsa), Polenta (Truffle, Leeks, Parmesan), Fire Roasted Eggplant (Tahini, Harissa, Pomegranate), and the restaurant’s signature Cabbage served with creme fraiche. Also available for pick-up is the “Around the Turkey” Kit which includes house-made turkey seasoning, mango amba glaze (to coat your turkey with at home), tamarind sauce (gravy style), and papaya compote (cranberry sauce style). Whole Halva Crack Pies (pistachio and tahini pie, creme fraiche) and Kefir Labneh Cakes (labneh, oatmeal crust, strawberry ras al hanout coulis), serving 4-6 each, are also available for pick-up, to add a sweet ending to your Thanksgiving meal.


Venue: Aba Miami Description: Mediterranean restaurant Aba will be featuring a special Thanksgiving to-go dinner for two. Available for $134.95, the to-go dinner features a variety of Aba favorites such as butternut squash, truffle baked orzo, brussels sprouts, beef tenderloin kebab, crispy chicken thigh and more.
