Celebrate May the Fourth at The LOOP
On Saturday, May 4, The LOOP Fort Lauderdale Beach will host a galactic celebration in honor of Star Wars Day.
May the Fourth be with you!
Sip, sup and shop the way through the Rebel Alliance of Vendors at The MKT from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
The community is invited to discover Jedi-worthy clothing, jewelry and accessories from galaxies not so (far) far away, art that’s out of this world, home decor fit for a starship and food that’ll make taste buds do the Wookiee roar!
The full schedule of events includes:
9–10:15 a.m.: Find Your Inner Jedi! Strike a pose with Star Wars-inspired Yoga as and flow through “Yoda Poses” and “Skywalker Stretches!” Quench thirst with a complimentary cool and refreshing Yoda Soda after class. Register and bring a friend for free with the two-for-$10 Jedi companion special. Link to Register.
10 a.m.–2 p.m.: Galactic Games and Giveaways: Test Star Wars knowledge with trivia for chances to win stellar prizes! Children will receive lightsaber bubble wands to take home and create their own intergalactic adventures.
11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Star Wars Selfies: Snap a pic with Princess Leia, high-five Luke Skywalker, face-off with Darth Vader or join forces with a Storm Trooper!
