Casabianca, a new townhouse gallery in Italy, has opened to showcase an extensive private collection of modern and contemporary art and design assembled over four decades.

The space is the latest project from Paolo and Antonella De Santis, the hoteliers behind Lake Como property Passalacqua, which has been ranked among the leading hotels in Europe. Casabianca presents works by modern and contemporary artists in a residential setting, including pieces installed in the salotto, or living room.

The gallery is designed to reflect the De Santis family’s approach to art and hospitality, integrating curated works into domestic-scale rooms. Beginning in the summer season, Casabianca plans to add three guest suites, allowing visitors to stay overnight within the gallery environment.
