Carnaval Miami 2026 Kicks Off Feb. 22 With Calle Ocho Festival, Carnaval on the Mile and Cultural Events

Carnaval Miami will return in 2026 with a multi-week lineup of cultural events beginning Feb. 22 and running through mid-March, around March 15. The series features Latin music, visual art, food, fashion and community programming celebrating cultural heritage across Greater Miami and Miami Beach.
Among the headline events is the 48th Annual Calle Ocho Festival, scheduled for March 15, when Calle Ocho in Little Havana will be transformed into a daylong street festival from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Known nationally as the Calle Ocho Music Festival, the event features multiple music stages, international food pavilions, folkloric performances and cultural showcases.
Earlier, the 27th Annual Carnaval on the Mile will take place March 7–8 along Miracle Mile, offering a weekend of fine art displays, jazz and funk concerts, culinary experiences and children’s entertainment across three stages.
The 2026 schedule also includes several community-focused and sporting events. Miss Carnaval Miami, set for Feb. 22 at Cuz Miami, will select a cultural ambassador to represent the organization throughout the year. The 43rd Annual Golf Classic follows on Feb. 23 at Trump National Doral, raising funds for student scholarships. From March 9–11, the 43rd Annual Domino Tournament will bring senior participants together at Domino Park for friendly competition and social engagement.
Spring events extend Carnaval Miami’s programming with the Carnaval Miami Soccer 5v5 tournament on April 4 at Amelia Earhart Park and the inaugural Pickleball Showdown on April 18 at Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus.
Organizers say the festival’s continued growth reflects its dual mission of celebrating Miami’s multicultural identity while reinvesting in the community through education, youth services and local economic support.
