Miami-Dade County Arts invites talented artists to participate in creating art for public spaces, offering exclusive opportunities for development. This opportunity is specifically available to professional visual artists located in South Florida.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS DEADLINE: Monday, April 29, 2024, 11:59PM

BUDGET: $100,000.00 

ELIGIBILITY: Open to professional visual artists based in south Florida


Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs through its Art in Public Places Program and the Miami-Dade County Public Library Systems request qualifications from professional artists and/or artist teams to commission artworks for the new Key Biscayne Branch Library.

Miami Individual Artists (MIA) Grant


APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 1, 2024, 11:59PM


Provides non-matching awards to individual artists of all disciplines in Miami-Dade County on a competitive basis to support their artistic development and practice. In recognition of the contributions of Miami-Dade’s outstanding artists to the fundamental vitality and creativity of our cultural community, the MIA Grant Program encourages applications from professional artists of the highest caliber with a recognized body of original artwork, and who are deeply rooted in Miami’s diverse cultural life.
