Callaway Sisters Bring “Broadway the Calla-way” to Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

The Callaway Sisters will bring their signature blend of Broadway classics and vocal harmony to the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Friday, January 23, at 8 p.m. with Broadway the Calla-way, part of the City of Aventura’s 2025–2026 Broadway Concert Series.

Tony-nominated sisters Liz Callaway and Ann Hampton Callaway are known for performances that move seamlessly between musical theater, jazz, and the American Songbook. The program features songs from well-known Broadway productions including West Side Story, Chicago, Funny Girl, Cats, Carousel, and Wicked, with musical direction by Alex Rybeck.

Ann Hampton Callaway has built a career across jazz, pop, and musical theater as a singer, pianist, composer, and arranger. She received a Tony nomination for her role in Swing! and is widely recognized for writing and performing the theme song for the television series The Nanny. She has also been honored multiple times by Broadway World for her work as a jazz vocalist.

Liz Callaway is a Grammy and Tony nominee and an Emmy Award winner whose Broadway credits include Merrily We Roll Along, Baby, and Cats, where she performed as Grizabella for five years. Her work extends to film and animation, including the Academy Award-nominated song “Journey to the Past” from Anastasia and the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in multiple Aladdin films.

VIP ticket add-ons are available and include a post-show meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with the artists. Tickets for the performance are available through Aventura Arts & Cultural Center tickets, by phone, or at the box office during regular hours.

The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center is located at 3385 NE 188 Street and is managed by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
