Call For Artists: Transform Miami-Dade Metrorail Stations With Public Art

The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs is seeking professional visual artists from South Florida to contribute public art for improvement projects at Northside and Brownsville Metrorail stations. With a combined budget of $675,000, these projects aim to enhance the community through artistic expression while celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Art in Public Places program.

Artists have until Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11:59 PM to submit their qualifications. Established in 1973, the program allocates 1.5% of capital costs from new government buildings to commission artworks, enriching Miami-Dade County's public spaces and cultural legacy.
