Among the most interesting pieces are the creations combining silver with traditional Murano glass. The Caviar design also has an interesting history. In 1981, Gianmaria Buccellati created the extraordinary Cratere delle Muse, a decorative chalice made with silver, gold, jade, and 200 sapphires. Today, the piece remains part of the Maison’s historical private collection, illustrating just how important this particular motif has been to the Buccellati family.
Founded in Milan in 1919 by Mario Buccellati, the Maison is known for its intricate hand-engraving techniques inspired by Renaissance goldsmithing. That dedication to craftsmanship continues throughout the Caviar Collection, where even the smallest objects receive careful attention to detail.
