Broward Children’s Center Academy Opens Limited Enrollment for 2026–2027 School Year
Broward Children’s Center Academy is accepting limited enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year, continuing its long standing work serving children with special needs in Broward County.
Specialized Services Across Two Broward Campuses
The nonprofit private school serves children with moderate to severe disabilities from pre kindergarten through eighth grade at campuses in Pompano Beach and Dania Beach. The north campus is located at 25 SE 20th Ave., Pompano Beach, Florida 33060, and the south campus is at 3891 Stirling Road, Dania Beach, Florida 33312.
BCC Academy offers a comprehensive academic curriculum alongside educational, therapeutic and behavioral services tailored to children who are developmentally disabled or medically fragile. Classrooms and small campuses are structured so each student receives individualized attention, with goals set through assessments, observations and ongoing parental input.
Support Services for Students and Families
The academy provides support for students with disabilities that includes Individualized Education Programs, speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, behavior support, academic intervention and resource specialists, inclusive classrooms with differentiated instruction, and small group and one on one services. Family and caregiver resources and ancillary social services such as parenting enrichment, youth enrichment, case management, information and referrals, and community outreach are also available.
Family focused initiatives include a Family Strengthening Program and Sibling Program based on the Nurturing Program for Parents and their Children with Special Needs and Health Challenges model, providing caregivers with ongoing skills and support. To help working families, the academy offers care on some days when Broward County Public Schools are closed, as well as summer camp, before and after school care, door to door transportation and respite services.
Tuition, Scholarships and Enrollment Information
BCC Academy receives funding from the Children’s Services Council of Broward and offers individualized tuition plans. Additional support may be available through the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program for eligible students attending approved public or private schools.
