BrightStar Credit Union is redefining what a neighborhood financial institution can feel like. At its newly opened Miami Beach branch on 827 Arthur Godfrey Road, the South Florida-based credit union has partnered with celebrated pop artist Stephen Gamson to showcase a curated selection of his works — transforming the space into a reflection of the city it serves.
The collaboration highlights BrightStar’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities not only through financial services, but through meaningful cultural engagement.
A Visual Love Letter to Miami
Few artists capture Miami’s rhythm quite like Stephen Gamson. Known for his crisp graphic compositions and saturated color palettes, Gamson’s work is instantly recognizable — bold, optimistic and unmistakably South Florida. His resume includes serving as the official artist for the Monaco Grand Prix, Sony Open and the Miami Beach Polo World Cup, along with collaborations with global brands such as Lamborghini, Bacardi and Café Bustelo.
A fixture at major art fairs including Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Miami and Scope Art Fair, Gamson has also earned deep local recognition. Miami Beach proclaimed an official “Stephen Gamson Day,” and he was selected as the official artist for the City of Miami’s anniversary celebrations in 2010 and 2011.
Though internationally collected, Gamson’s creative roots remain firmly planted in Miami, where his studio continues to produce pieces inspired by the color, culture and coastal energy that defines our city.
