Miami Living (ML): You've worked with some of the most iconic brands and people in fashion, beauty and wellness, hospitality, technology and art. What drew you to Miami, and how does the city inspire your current work with clients here?
Courtney: Working in Miami has been a natural progression for my agency, Courtney Daniels Consulting. Our headquarters in New York City, we represent top brands and personalities based all over the world and Miami is of course one of the biggest hubs of art, hospitality, fashion and is just electric, especially with so much exciting talent. And exciting new clients are pulling me here!
ML: Miami has a unique cultural blend - art, fashion and hospitality - all in one place. How do you see Courtney Daniels Consulting tapping into or shaping that dynamic?
Courtney: Miami is a place where the art doesn’t hang quietly on walls, the fashion walks out of galleries onto the street, and the hospitality? It’s not just service — it’s a theater and performance. What’s always made CDC successful is that we understand that the blurring of boundaries isn’t accidental. It’s cultural. It’s generational. And it’s the competitive advantage brands must lean into if they want relevance here.
ML: Since starting Courtney Daniels Consulting over 12 years ago, how have you approached expanding your client roster?
Courtney: Most of our business comes through referrals from my network which I’ve always felt so grateful for. I’ve had so much past experience working for corporate firms – I’ve literally worked with every genre of the industry. At CDC, I love to keep things interesting! Our client roster has expanded over the years to my personal interests which include art, beauty, fashion, technology, business and hospitality!
ML: From producing runway shows for huge corporate brands like Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab and Bill Blass to representing cutting-edge artists, companies and personalities - your career has spanned both luxury and avant-garde. What’s the common thread that guides who you choose to work with?
Courtney: From the first meeting with a new client, I must really connect with the Founder/CEO and brand heritage – and feel ecstatic about the work on the table - no matter if the brand is large or emerging, that’s a non-negotiable for me. I also have to have this innate sense and picture the success of what myself and my firm’s work can do to further the brands success and visibility.

ML: You launched one of your previous companies ‘The French Rebellion’ in 2012 to help French fashion brands enter and thrive the U.S. market. Have you found a similar energy or opportunity for cross-cultural collaborations?
Courtney: Certainly! Miami is so rich in culture. I have clients of so many different descents and born in places throughout the world. I think this is what makes my company so interesting and keeps me learning through them all the time!
ML: What’s the most rewarding part of representing high-end clients in a city like Miami, where the pace is fast and the aesthetic is bold?
Courtney: I’ve always been a really intense, hard worker who loves a fast paced environment. My successes in achieving great results for our clients and seeing their companies’ growth as a result has always given me such happiness! With that said, Miami fits my personality to a T.
ML: With over 20 years of experience in Marketing and PR, what has surprised you most about the Miami market and its appetite for luxury, creativity, and storytelling?
Courtney: After more than two decades working in marketing and public relations, the biggest surprise about Miami hasn’t been it’s recent growth—it’s been the emotional sophistication of the consumer and how luxury, creativity, and storytelling are deeply personal here. Miami isn’t just another market; it’s a cultural moodboard, a city where also the unspoken values are louder than any billboard.
ML: Between your agency, Marketing and PR campaigns for your clients, and your extensive work in the art world, how do you stay creatively energized and connected to the pulse of culture?
Courtney: I love constantly being on the go and finding adventure in the everyday – my fiancé says I never rest! I love going to galleries, museums and concerts on the weekends. I have to try every new restaurant that opens and I’m constantly going to brand launches and events. This keeps me entertained, inspired and on the pulse of what’s new!

ML: Miami is so prevalent in Art, specifically. What prompted you to begin working more deeply with the art industry around eight years ago? What got you interested and involved initially with the art world? What got you interested and involved initially with the art world?
Courtney: I’ve always been friends with a large network of artists. I also collect artwork and I have personal relationships with a lot of gallerists. Years ago, I began helping my artist friends out and making introductions to galleries and showing my network their work. I was doing this for some time before I realized that maybe there’s something there; so I developed a special program of representation and Marketing/PR for artists as a service offering by my agency and we now represent a roster of artists. I’ve become quite well known for this over the years.
ML: You do a lot of philanthropic work as well. Tell us a bit more about this aspect and any specific projects in this realm you want to share a bit about?
Courtney: Giving back has always been an important part of who I am and what I stand for. My agency Courtney Daniels Consulting often donates our services and has does fundraising to philanthropies and non-profits such an Vibrant Emotional Health, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Beauty for Freedom, Humane Society just to name a few. We also always partner our clients with philanthropies and build this into our strategies, as it's so important for every brand is also giving back to a cause they stand for.
