Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2026 with the Wild About Kids Gala on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel, highlighting eight decades of youth development in Miami-Dade County.

The black-tie event, titled The Wild About Kids Gala: Celebrating 80 Years, will begin with a 6:30 p.m. cocktail reception followed by a three-course dinner in the Alhambra Ballroom. Guests will experience a silent auction, live entertainment by Latin soul artist Lucy Grau, dancing and presentations featuring members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.

Proceeds from the gala will support programs at the nonprofit’s six Clubs, including after-school care, tutoring and homework assistance, STEM activities, educational enrichment, college and career readiness, financial literacy, character and leadership development, health and wellness, arts, sports and recreation, and seasonal camps. These services provide children and teens with safe spaces to learn, build skills and prepare for the future.

The 2026 gala is chaired for the third consecutive year by Executive Board Member Michelle Zubizarreta, with Board Member Olga Guilarte serving as Special Event Chair. Additional support comes from a host committee of community leaders and longtime supporters of the organization.

Sponsorship opportunities start at $1,500, and tickets and packages are available online. Those interested in attending or supporting the event can learn more through Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.
