ONE: The Musical — September 8

Disney On Ice Presents Spotlight Magic! — September 10
Disney On Ice’s new Spotlight Magic! production turns Amerant Bank Arena into a red-carpet celebration hosted by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. More than 30 characters appear in scenes inspired by Zootopia 2, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story and Monsters, Inc.
Eureka Day — September 10–13
Jonathan Spector’s Tony-winning satire follows an ultra-progressive private school where consensus collapses after a mumps outbreak divides its parent community. Island City Stage’s production examines parenting, privilege and the volatility of public debate through sharply observed comedy.
Zombi Manifiesto — September 10–12
Uruguayan playwright and director Santiago Sanguinetti places a missing corpse, an exemplary bureaucrat and a dead military officer demanding justice inside a dark political comedy. The Spanish-language production appears at Westchester Cultural Arts Center as part of the 40th International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami.
Jurassic Quest — September 11–13
Jurassic Quest fills the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition with life-size animatronic dinosaurs, interactive science stations and fossil digs. The family experience also includes baby-dinosaur encounters, rides and play zones designed for young visitors.
Cedric the Entertainer — September 11
Three decades of stand-up, television and film shape Cedric the Entertainer’s multi-show engagement at Miami Improv. The Original Kings of Comedy veteran draws on everyday life, pop culture and polished storytelling in a set built around his easygoing stage presence.
Deconstructing a Human Sacrifice — September 11–20
Playwright Erin Proctor transforms her maternal family history and a 1933 ritual killing into an absurdist workshop production at Main Street Playhouse. Directed by Brandon Urrutia, the play follows a descendant confronting a murdered ancestor and the trauma carried across generations.
A Fuego — September 11–13
Spanish playwright and performer Pablo Macho Otero shifts among characters in a verse monologue driven by satire, wordplay and metatheater. Inspired by the ancient figure Erostratus, the production examines narcissism and the human desire to leave a permanent mark.
Alexis Valdés Presents Oficialmente Gay 4 — September 11
Cuban actor and comedian Alexis Valdés returns to Teatro Trail with Oficialmente Gay 4: El fin de la dictadura, the latest installment of his popular stage comedy. The Spanish-language production imagines a democratic transition in Cuba and finds humor in the uncertainty of what freedom might require.
Candlelight: Tribute to Michael Jackson — September 12
The Listeso String Quartet reimagines Michael Jackson’s catalog in a 60-minute performance at the Scottish Rite Temple MIA. Familiar pop songs are recast for strings in the intimate glow that defines the Candlelight concert series.
Asere Social Club — September 12
Afro-Cuban music, poetry and dance meet in a multimedia anthology tracing cultural memory from the 1920s to the present. Produced by José Elias, the program features Cortadito, Irawo Osa, guest musicians, poets and dancers Barbara Ramos and Marisol Blanco.
The Comedy Zone Featuring Drew Thomas — September 12
Drew Thomas headlines The Comedy Zone at The Moss Center with sharp timing and a smooth, conversational delivery. The 18-and-older performance unfolds in the venue’s intimate, table-seated Black Box.
