Bar Tulio's Adds to Wynwood’s Growing and Vibrant Culinary Landscape

Bar Tulio’s, a Mexican restaurant and bar offering an innovative culinary menu, will be opening on July 12 in the heart of Wynwood, Miami’s creative and cultural hub. The eagerly awaited addition is designed to redefine and refresh the traditional take on Mexican food and drink, with a uniquely curated menu, innovative bar program, extensive tequila menu spanning over 200 options, refreshing draft beer varieties, stunning decor and great hospitality.

Newest gem delivers the ultimate experience as a cultured, cool neighborhood hangout spot

Acclaimed restaurateurs Brian Parenteau and Douglas Herbst, together with chef Tulio Alas, are expanding their footprint from Fort Lauderdale to Miami with the launch of Bar Tulio's. The new go-to locale is a perfect fit for Miami's cool, culture-rich Wynwood, and was created to be a comfortable neighborhood hangout, as well as a true dining destination for guests from surrounding areas.  The inviting interior, including stylish booths, warm red brick walls, and a live-edge bar, propel it beyond the usual bar experience, creating a welcoming, at-home feel for both regulars and visitors alike. The new spot is the second offering for the restaurateurs, and marks the first concept outside of Fort Lauderdale.

An array of handcrafted cocktails including the “El Diablo” and the “Smoked Berry Sangria” complement the carefully designed menu, which pays homage to classic Mexican flavors while also embracing modern culinary techniques. The expansive selection of dishes include Mexican favorites with a unique twist, such as Lobster Tacos, Mexican Kale Salad, Short Rib Birria Tacos and for the ultimate brunch, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Breakfast Quesadillas and Crab Tostada.

"I envision Bar Tulio's as more than just a restaurant or average bar; it is an inviting place where guests can indulge and unwind with friends over a fantastic menu. My goal is  to bring a unique, but still local, and definitively ‘neighborhood’ experience to Miami,” said Parenteau. “Wynwood is an incredibly bustling, art-centric town, making it the perfect place to create a dining destination that will captivate the senses and leave a lasting impression on everyone who enters its doors.”

Parenteau, a seasoned hospitality entrepreneur with an extensive background in the industry and deep appreciation for the culinary arts, started as a barback in a South Beach nightclub. From there, his passion for the industry resulted in the opening of DrYnk Bar & Lounge, and two other concepts in Fort Lauderdale, including Tulio’s Tacos & Tequila Bar and Patio Pizza & Bar.

“Our vision for Bar Tulio’s is for it to be  more than just a place to eat…it’s an experience. We welcome guests looking to be taken on a journey of epicurean delight, along with those who just want a great hangout spot to enjoy a delicious cocktail, listen to live music, or watch the big game. The delicious food and drinks mean it's ideal for everyone,” adds Parenteau.

Bar Tulio’s will be located at 2839 NW 1st Avenue, Miami, Florida 33127 and will be open for dinner, drinks, and weekend brunch. For more information, please visit
