B2, which stands for “Bookmark + Boutique,” is located just minutes from Zürich’s Hauptbahnhof, the city’s main train station. The hotel occupies a 150-year-old Hürlimann brewery, offering guests a unique experience of sleeping where beer was brewed for over 130 years. The design seamlessly blends original industrial features with modern architecture by Althammer Hochuli and interior design by Ushi Tamborriello.

B2 boasts an open-space design concept where public areas are welcoming and inclusive. The remarkable library lounge stands out, featuring towering bookshelves reaching 33 feet (11 meters) high and accommodating over 33,000 books. This versatile space serves as an ideal setting for dining, working, and socializing, whether with friends, family, or business associates. Guests are encouraged to browse through the collection and enjoy a good read while dining.

The hotel also features well-preserved historical spaces, including a room with original brewery machinery available for special events. The workout area retains original industrial details like tiles and machinery, adding to the unique ambiance of B2.

The property features 51 guest rooms and one suite situated in the renovated mash house, as well as eight duplex suites housed in the repurposed cold store. Each room is equipped with modern conveniences, including complimentary minibars, flat-screen televisions, work desks, spacious showers, and Nespresso machines.
