Aventura Swimwear Heads to Ibiza Swim Week on June 20th for International Runway Debut following their Miami Swim Week Launch

After making waves at Miami Swim Week with their Signature Collection, Aventura Swimwear is officially taking their message of sustainable luxury global. The Croatian-founded label, known for fusing ocean advocacy with elevated design, will present on the runway at Ibiza Swim Week on June 20, 2025 marking the brand’s first European runway show.
Hosted once again at the stunning Hotel Aguas de Ibiza in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Swim Week returns for its second consecutive year with an impressive lineup of 18 designers from around the globe. Now recognized as one of the Mediterranean’s premier fashion events, the runway is fast becoming a launchpad for next-generation swimwear brands and Aventura is poised to stand out.
“Ibiza represents everything our brand stands for at Aventura Swimwear. Energy, elegance, and a deep connection to the sea,” says Erik Leutar, founder and creative director of Aventura Swimwear. “After our Miami debut, it was a natural next step to bring our vision to Europe, and there’s no better stage than Ibiza.”
From the Adriatic to Ibiza
Founded by Erik Leutar, a Croatian entrepreneur and former marine science student, Aventura Swimwear was born out of a commitment to protecting the oceans while celebrating their beauty. The brand’s debut Signature Collection presented in Miami on June 1st features sleek silhouettes, bold prints, and sculpting designs crafted from Econyl®, a regenerated fiber made from ocean waste including discarded fishing nets and plastic bottles.
A Moment of Global Expansion
Ibiza Swim Week will showcase Aventura’s sustainable ethos to a new audience of buyers, press, and fashion insiders across Europe and the Mediterranean. Each piece in the collection is handcrafted in small batches at a women-powered atelier on the Amalfi Coast, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to ethical production and mindful luxury.
“We’re not just showing swimwear... we’re sharing a movement,” Erik Leutar adds. “Aventura is for women who want to feel empowered, elegant, and responsible. Ibiza is the perfect setting to take that message further.”
What’s Next
As Aventura Swimwear continues its international rollout, the brand plans to expand into resort wear and eco-luxury beach accessories later this year. With a direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform launched in April, and runway visibility in both the U.S. and Europe, the brand is carving out a space at the intersection of style and sustainability.
