ArtServe Releases 2026 Programming Focused on Culture, Wellness, and Community Engagement

ArtServe has released its full 2026 programming schedule, outlining a year of exhibitions and events centered on cultural exchange, mental wellness, language, and community storytelling. The organization, based in Fort Lauderdale, continues its role as a regional hub for artistic development and creative education, offering free admission and regular public programming throughout the year.

The season begins with Journey to Mount Athos (January 23–March 6), presented in partnership with the Mount Athos Foundation of America. The exhibition brings together more than 30 large-scale art banners, photographs, and cultural artifacts that document the spiritual and artistic traditions of the Mount Athos monastic community in Greece. Additional works by local Greek artists, along with poetry, costumes, and musical instruments, highlight broader Hellenic cultural ties, including Fort Lauderdale’s sister-city relationship with Thessaloniki. The public opening on January 23 features live music, dance, and guest presentations supported by regional Hellenic organizations.

The spring exhibition I’m Still Here: Exploring Mental Wellness (March 27–May 22) examines themes of resilience, personal healing, and emotional well-being. A free public reception will be held on March 27.

ArtServe’s Fourth Annual Impact Awards Gala takes place on April 17, recognizing artists, cultural leaders, and community partners whose work has shaped the region’s creative landscape. Tickets are available through their website.

Summer programming introduces The Art of Language (June 26–August 28), an exhibition exploring the visual and intellectual beauty of written and spoken expression, including storytelling, poetry, and text-based art forms. A public reception will take place June 26.

The 2026 season concludes with the annual Members’ Show: In Memory Of (October 2–December 4), a reflective survey of work centered on memory, personal histories, and lived experience. The exhibition opens with a free reception on October 2.

Event times are subject to change. Updated information is available at the website.
