Art Miami returns for its 36th edition at One Herald Plaza from December 1 through December 6. The international contemporary art fair will feature participating galleries from 25 countries, including over 20 galleries from the South Florida area.

Artist and activist Shepard Fairey will receive the 2026 Art Miami Lifetime Visionary Award during Miami Art Week. As the third recipient of this honor, Fairey is recognized for his contributions to contemporary art, culture and social discourse.

Fairey will have a curated presentation inside the Art Miami VIP Lounge highlighting works from his global portfolio. He will perform DJ sets during the opening evening of CONTEXT Art Miami and the VIP Preview of Aqua Art Miami. Additionally, Fairey will install a new exterior facade mural at the Aqua Hotel in Miami Beach. His work will be celebrated at a private dinner on Thursday, December 3, at Boulud Sud, featuring a menu by Chef Daniel Boulud. A portion of the dinner proceeds will benefit the Perry J. Cohen Foundation.

The 2026 fair will also feature The Money Laundry, an interactive installation by English contemporary artist Lucy Sparrow presented by TW Projects. The installation transforms a laundromat into a handmade felt environment where guests can purchase hand-painted cash, passports and watches. Luxury brand Yvel will return as the official jeweler of the fair.

The event opens on December 1 with VIP previews that benefit the Pérez Art Museum Miami before general admission begins at 4 p.m. Tickets are available exclusively online.
