Art Gallery 21 is pleased to announce it is celebrating its 15 year anniversary this Saturday, September 19th, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Island City Cultural Center located at 600 NE 21st Court in Wilton Manors with the kickoff of its first art exhibit of the season— the 15th Annual Island City Juried Art Exhibit Opening Reception.

With 29 local featured artists and 46 new pieces showcasing a diverse range of captivating and creative art from a variety of local South Florida artists including new, emerging and award-winning artists, this Saturday’s opening reception will be a great celebration of local art, community and connection. “It’s so exciting that Art Gallery 21 is now in our 15th consecutive year hosting art exhibits that celebrate and support local artists!” said Constance Ruppender, founder and President of Art Gallery 21.

This exhibit was curated by local Wilton Manors artist and guest jurist, Tin Ly, who selected the best art pieces from dozens of submissions and selected the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, who will each receive cash prizes and the opportunity to showcase their work in ‘The Winner’s Show’ at Art Gallery 21 in December,” said Constance Ruppender, founder and President of Art Gallery 21. “We invite all art lovers, local residents, families, friends and neighbors to join us on Saturday for a wonderful art show opening event at the Island City Cultural Center.

29 individual artists submitted 46 original works of art for the this year’s Juried Art Exhibition including oils, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, photography, collage art, mixed media and ceramic sculptures.
