The Contemporary Art sale will conclude this week of 20th and 21st century art sales with a carefully curated selection of around 100 lots. These will include works by iconic French artists such as Simon Hantaï, Victor Vasarely, Aurélie Nemours, and Georges Mathieu, as well as major figures of the post-war period such as Jean Dubuffet, Jean Paul Riopelle, and Hans Hartung.
This sale will also highlight leading names from the contemporary scene, including a portrait of Miriam Cahn, a work by Robert Longo, two pieces by Anselm Kiefer and a sculpture by Antony Gormley.
Photographs by notable artists such as Gerhard Richter, Thomas Ruff, Helmut Newton and Irving Penn will also be on display.
Finally, this session will highlight renowned Italian artists, such as Mario Schifano, Piero Manzoni, Enrico Castellani, Fausto Melotti and Lucio Fontana. This sale demonstrates the diversity of post-war and contemporary art and provides a wonderful opportunity to acquire works that are as exceptional as they are varied.
