Art Basel is the unofficial kickoff for ‘season in Miami’, and here are some Art Basel happenings worth checking out.
Dante’s HiFi Art Basel Lineup
Dante's HiFi, Miami's first vinyl listening bar, ignited a local trend and has now emerged as the epicenter for top-tier global music talent and celebrity sightings, including A$AP Rocky, Anderson .Paak, Zoe Kravitz, and more. This year during Art Basel, expect performances by Benji B, Koco from Japan, Soul & the Horn, Moody Man, Musical Director Rich Medina, and many more. Select tickets will be available through Tock, releasing on November 27, for $100/person, while all other events operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Special Art Basel programming will run from Tuesday, December 5, through Sunday, December 10.

Zeru Miami New Restaurant
The first international outpost from Mexico City-based hospitality company Grupo Zeru, Zeru Miami is a contemporary restaurant serving coastal Mediterranean Basque cuisine located in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. Zeru means "heavenly" in Euskera, the official language of Basque country provides a Mediterranean-inspired sanctuary, allowing guests to escape the hectic city life. The menu showcases authentic seafood dishes like Getaria-style fish cooked on the Basque region's famous Josper grill, complemented by fresh salads, San Sebastian-style tapas, and signature Mediterranean rice. Their commitment to authenticity shines through their meticulous sourcing of both recipes and ingredients, spanning a diverse array of traditional favorites and hidden gems from lesser-known regions.

1-800-Lucky New Menu + Art Basel Lineup
Miami’s first and only Asian food hall, known as an incubator for innovative food and musical talent is returning to season with refreshed menu selections, a new pop-up concept and unforgettable Art Basel programming. Jeeney, the Filipino concept brought to Lucky by Nicole Ponseca, James Beard Finalist and award-winning cookbook author, is sharing their recently released brunch menu featuring dishes like Silogs and Dampa Fry. Chefs Nancy Dominguez and Leicel Ros introduce their Southeast Asian-inspired pop-up Sili, offering bold, intense, and unexpected flavors, from Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, with a local twist. Outside of food, Live DJ sets take place daily and include talent like Jarobi Ft. Tillery James at 7pm every Tuesday, Ripe Fruit presented by Louie Arson every Thursday at 9pm and Dulce presented by Bonnie Beats & Negra Fabulosa every Saturday 3pm-9pm.

Okeydokey New Restaurant
Okeydokey, the recently debuted "food-driven" dining and entertainment venue nestled in the heart of Bickell, is sharing some exciting updates heading into season. The 3,000 sqft. terrace space, adorned in lush greenery and ample seating, has recently opened its doors, along with a spacious co-working area on the second floor. Guests can look forward to weekly activations, including musical programming by Tigre Sounds and Sunday Sessions. Okeydokey also hosts weekly events like workout classes, art classes and a marketplace in partnership with Magic City Flea. Housing six full-service kitchens and two bars, Okeydokey offers the perfect setting to explore new cuisines and connect with the local community.

ZeyZey Miami New Venue + Art Basel Lineup
At ZeyZey’s guests can immerse themselves in global sounds cultivated by Grassfed Culture Hospitality (the team behind Michelin-rated Los Félix and Krüs) in partnership with Isabella Acker of Tigre Sounds, the Miami-based independent record label and musical discovery platform for citizens of the world. Every week ZeyZey will host outdoor live performances every Friday and Saturday, vinyl DJs, and groovy and electronic dance parties in the disco, as well as special events on Thursday evenings. Beyond their musical programming, ZeyZey is a hub for community and regularly hosts events like art, yoga, and dance classes, while also serving as an ideal venue for private events. In addition, Zey Zey will host monthly residencies with beloved hometown DJ’s and local acts, and also welcome some of Miami’s favorite established parties and DJ collectives from around the world.
