Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 to Feature 272 Galleries and New Showfloor Design
Art Basel has outlined the plans for its 2026 Miami Beach fair, highlighting a reconfigured showfloor and an expanded program that includes new public art initiatives and the return of the Zero 10 sector.

The 2026 edition will bring together 272 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and territories across its sectors and Zero 10, with a particular emphasis on artistic production from the Americas. More than 30 galleries are set to participate for the first time, most of them through the project-based Nova, Positions, and Survey sectors.
Latin America and the Caribbean will be represented in depth, with Brazil forming the fair’s third-largest national contingent. The exhibitor list also features notable participation from Los Angeles and Chicago and a strengthened presence from South Florida galleries.
Zero 10 will return with its largest presentation to date, titled Generation, comprising 19 projects by artists including Jon Rafman, Refik Anadol, and Sarah Meyohas. Curated by Karen Archey with Eli Scheinman, the sector will see expanded participation from established galleries, and Nicole Sales Giles has been appointed as Zero 10’s first Global Head.
Beyond the convention center, Art Basel will collaborate with the Turrell Art Foundation, supported by Pace Gallery, to unveil a new body of work by James Turrell outdoors and open to the public. Public Art Fund will present Between Tides, a participatory exhibition of artist-designed ping-pong tables at Collins Park.
The Art Basel Awards will return in partnership with BOSS, with the Gold Awardees to be announced at the Official Art Basel Awards Night on Thursday, December 3. For the 2026 fair, the gallery line-up will be more focused and organized across a substantially reconfigured showfloor, a redesign that responds to exhibitor and Selection Committee feedback by opening sightlines and distributing blue-chip galleries throughout the venue to place programs of different scales in closer proximity.
