The Miami Beach edition, which started in 2002, is the most prominent art fair in the Americas and typically occurs in early December. Art Basel Miami Beach is divided into several sectors, each dedicated to different facets of contemporary and modern art. What’s New and Exciting at Art Basel Miami Beach 2025?
Art Basel recently introduced its first‑ever Art Basel Awards in 2024, presented in partnership with BOSS, to acknowledge excellence across the contemporary art ecosystem, including artists, curators, institutions, and behind‑the‑scenes contributors.
This year 36 medalists were announced in May with an international jury, and 12 Gold Medalists will be revealed during a special ceremony on December 2025, in Miami Beach. The Awards will include honorariums, global visibility, strategic collaborations, and high‑profile commissions for winners.
Also new is a Premium Hospitality Suite on the show floor, which will host guided tours, salon‑style conversations, and invitation‑only programming aimed especially at young collectors and Premium Pass Holders.

Can I Attend Art Basel Miami Beach with Children?
Yes! Art Basel Miami Beach welcomes young visitors through Art Kids, a complimentary program for children ages 5 to 11. While parents explore the fair, children can enjoy a safe, supervised space led by the professional team from the Miami Children’s Museum. This year’s program focuses on sustainable art, with hands-on projects, storytelling, and playful activities using recycled and repurposed materials.
Pre-registration is recommended. Complete the registration form and email it to dpinon@miamichildrensmuseum.org. Art Kids is located in the East Lobby, Level 2 of the Miami Beach Convention Center.

General Information
Using tickets for family members
Don’t worry if all your purchased tickets show your name. Each ticket comes with a unique barcode, so every family member can use their ticket for entry—even if it has your details printed on it.
Buying tickets safely
Tickets should only be purchased through the official online ticket shop. Avoid buying from unknown third-party websites, as copied or fake tickets will not be accepted.
Ticket usage
Your ticket will be scanned at the entrance turnstiles. If you have a day ticket, keep in mind that once you exit, re-entry is not allowed. Always bring your printed ticket or save it in your Passbook/Wallet app to avoid delays.
Forgot your ticket?
If you arrive without your ticket, head to the box office or ask a host at the entrance area for assistance.

Receiving your ticket
After purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation email with two attachments:
A PDF ticket you can print at home.
A Wallet file you can save to your phone.
Be sure to check your spam folder if the email doesn’t appear in your inbox.
Using the Passbook/Wallet app
On iPhone or iPod Touch (iOS 6 or later): save the file directly to the Passbook/Wallet app. Simply open it at the entrance and scan.
On Android or Windows devices: third-party apps may work, but we cannot guarantee their functionality or design.
Printing requirements
To print your ticket, you’ll need Adobe Acrobat Reader (available on Adobe’s website) and a printer.
Multiple prints
You may print your ticket more than once, but remember: the barcode is valid for only one admission. Once scanned, any duplicates cannot be used.

When purchasing your ticket, you’ll be asked to select a time slot for entry. This helps manage visitor flow. Please arrive at the Convention Center at your chosen time. Day tickets are valid for single entry only, so once you leave, re-entry is not possible.

For safety reasons, each ticket is linked to a specific entrance. Please use the entrance indicated on your ticket. A map is available to help you find your way.

Garage access is available from 1901 Convention Center Drive (West) or 2000 Washington Ave (East), on the 4th and 5th levels (uncovered).
