This one-of-a-kind event is presented in part by the Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council and promises to be an unforgettable experience.
If you’ve been following Miami’s arts scene, you probably know Area Stage as one of South Florida’s premier theatre companies and it all started right here in Miami Beach. Founded by John and Maria Rodaz in 1989, Area Stage first made its mark on Lincoln Road, helping shape the city’s vibrant arts community. Now, more than 35 years later, they’re bringing their signature magic back to where it all began.
“For us, this event represents a full-circle moment,” says Maria Banda-Rodaz, Executive Director of Area Stage. “Miami Beach is where our journey started, and we are thrilled to come back with a production that highlights the very best of what we do—high-quality performances, artistic collaboration, and a deep love for musical theatre.”
