Apple Miami Worldcenter Opens With A Focus On Sustainability And Accessibility
Apple Miami Worldcenter officially opened its doors on January 24, 2025, in downtown Miami, offering a new destination for customers to explore and purchase Apple products. The store features the latest lineup, including the iPhone 16, MacBook Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, and more, with personalized services such as device setup, Apple Trade In, and carrier activation.
Designed with the environment in mind, the new location utilizes low-carbon materials and a mass timber structure, reducing its carbon footprint during construction. Like all Apple facilities, the store operates on 100% renewable energy and is carbon neutral. Its biophilic design connects customers to the surrounding green spaces, inspired by Miami's rich cultural and natural landscape.
Apple Miami Worldcenter is also the first in the city to offer a dedicated Apple Pickup area, making it easier for customers to pick up online orders at their convenience. The store is designed with accessibility in mind, offering features like portable hearing loops and universal design principles to ensure a welcoming experience for all visitors.
In celebration of its opening, the store is hosting a variety of special events, including Today at Apple sessions focused on the store’s eco-friendly design and Made for Business events led by small business owners. These sessions aim to help customers learn more about Apple products and services while fostering community engagement.
With the opening of Apple Miami Worldcenter, Apple continues to expand its presence in Miami, now with 10 locations across the city, and further deepens its commitment to supporting the local community through educational programs and initiatives.
